Jim Winner's Ultimate Blueprint
DEBT
HACKING.
They know the rules.
Now it's your turn.
Learn how I used four consumer protection laws and civil procedure to build my cases and negotiate with creditors and collectors.
Show me the BlueprintBefore you ask what you owe,
ask what happened.
A letter lands. Your phone rings. Someone says you owe them money. It's easy to feel like they have all the information and you have all the pressure.
But a balance tells only part of the story. What was said? What was reported? What did you dispute? What records did you keep?
The Blueprint follows the approach I learned by taking on my own consumer disputes. You'll see how I connected the facts, the law, and the procedure instead of treating each one as a separate problem.
Less guessing. Better questions. A file you can actually use.
See how the five modules fit together“Jim Winner has really found his niche with this program. His teaching style is comedic, relatable and most importantly informative.”
Five parts.
One complete Blueprint.
The first four modules build the foundation. The fifth connects it all: protecting your rights, organizing the evidence, and preparing before a dispute gets away from you.

01Know your rightsWho owes whom?
A debt and a consumer-rights issue can be part of the same story. Learn what I look for before deciding how to approach a dispute.
- Four major federal consumer protection laws
- The right of setoff and the questions it raises
- Researching the creditor or collector
- Building a case file from everyday transactions
02Make a clear caseFrom facts to a demand.
Turn a frustrating experience into an account someone else can follow. See how I connect the events, the potential claim, and the resolution I'm asking for.
- Evaluating possible claims and damages
- Writing the story within a legal framework
- Finding the right representative beyond the call center
- Building a reasoned demand for a response
03Understand the processCivil procedure.
A strong point still needs the right procedure. Follow the pieces of a civil case and see where the paperwork, evidence, and deadlines fit.
- Research, courts, complaints, and filing fees
- Service and notice
- Motion practice, discovery, and hearings
- Using evidence and notes in a lawsuit
04Work toward resolutionNegotiation and settlement.
Getting a conversation started is one thing. Understanding the terms that end it is another. Learn from the negotiations, mistakes, and resolutions in my own cases.
- Negotiating with an attorney
- Settlement terms and releases
- Having documents reviewed
- Payment issues and properly closing a case
05Put it togetherThe Debt-Hacking Blueprint.
Now connect the work. See how I prepare from the beginning of an interaction, preserve what matters, and bring the pieces together when a problem develops.
- Protecting rights from the start
- Keeping evidence before the dispute grows
- Reducing avoidable loss
- Using a well-supported case in negotiations
Put your paperwork
to work.
You don't need to solve the whole dispute today. Start by making the facts easier to find.

Debt Hacking / Professional Litigant / Just Us Bridge
I didn't learn this
from the sidelines.
In 2006, a custody battle forced me to learn civil procedure. I couldn't afford to keep an attorney through the whole fight. So I started learning the system myself.
My consumer disputes gave me another place to put that learning to work. Credit reports. Collection calls. Credit-card problems. Again and again, I ran into the same consumer protection laws.
My first settlement was $500. It didn't fix everything. But it taught me something I kept coming back to: understanding the process changes how you approach the problem.
The Blueprint brings those lessons together. Today, I also teach through Professional Litigant and created Just Us Bridge to help people understand the legal system.
